Since April 2023, we’ve been on a delicious mission to bridge two rich food cultures.

The Founder’s Journey

Our story begins with Mr.T and Mrs. Vu Dang, our founder, whose passion for baking was kindled in the bustling streets of Saigon. Growing up surrounded by the enticing aromas of freshly baked bánh mì and sweet pastries, Mr.T and Mrs. Vu Dang learned the art of baking from their family.

When Mr.T and Mrs. Vu Dang moved to Australia, they brought with them not just recipes, but a vision. Inspired by Australia’s multicultural food scene, they began experimenting with fusion creations that combined traditional Vietnamese flavors with classic Australian baking techniques.

Our Growth

This passion project blossomed into AIL Bakehouse. Our first store opened in Sydney Street Market, Mackay City, quickly becoming a local favorite. Our success led to a second branch in Caneland Shopping Centre in February 2024, with a third location planned for November 2024.
